We present an easy interpretation of a cocktail from our latest drinks list. This is a batch prepared mix which is loaded with essence of a Christmas time, which makes it ideal for a festive gathering. Reserve the remaining citrus syrup for morning drinks, desserts, or to make additional servings of this cocktail.

Yields 10 guests
Ingredients for the Clementine Cordial (produces 750ml)
300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
To make the Drink (yields 850ml, serving 10)
400ml good quality vodka
100ml dry gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml clementine syrup (from the recipe above)
Whole cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch
Instructions
For the Citrus Syrup: Place every components into a pan, heat until it reaches a simmer, stirring so the sugar melts. Next, turn off the burner and leave to reach room temperature fully. Decant to a sealable bottle, close it and refrigerate it chilled, it will last for around a month.
Preparing the Batch Mix: Combine the specified spirits and syrup in a large bottle, leave to sit for an hour, then filter it preferably using a fine cloth, making it completely strained.
To serve: Measure 85ml of your batch mix into your cocktail shaker packed with ice, gently stirring carefully for a minute until cold. Strain into an chilled martini glass or similar, decorate with a few cranberries adding the final touch by giving it a light spray of the essential oil over the drink.
